Black Dog Tennis is managed by myself, Paul Pritchard. I am an LTA accredited referee with over 10 years’ experience working for Tennis Wales as the National Tournament Co-ordinator. I have organised literally hundreds of competitions for players from mini red up to Senior Challenger events with players ranked inside the top 100 in the world. My particular passion is being able to introduce young players who have never played in a competition before and giving them an enjoyable experience so they gain the confidence needed to compete and achieve their potential.

Tennis is essentially an individual sport so it can be quite daunting to stand on a tennis court in a competitive match for the first time. Competitive tennis will give young players essential life skills including confidence, the ability to make new friends and that wonderful sense of achievement when they eventually win a match.
